Sevilla + Granada

June 4 Monday
I woke up super tired today from having watched the nba finals but it’s alright so we woke up and went to the roof patio for breakfast, then we went to the alcazar of Sevilla which was really cool it’s the fortress and it’s right next to the cathedral and it’s so Spanish looking it’s super cool! Like they converted a Muslim building into the fortress so it looked really cool and it had these huge gardens like I’d image are kinda like Versailles. It was really cool! Then after that we went to the cathedral which is the biggest gothic cathedral in the world and it was so cool! So big and it has the tomb of Christopher Columbus! And we went up to the top of the tower where you can see all of Sevilla and that was awesome! Then we went and had lunch at this new York pizza and hot dog place it was pretty good and cheap so that was cool! Then we went back to the apartment and took a little nap then we went to the plaza de toros and walked along the river and went to Mercadona to get stuff for dinner! Then we had to meet up to go to the flamenco show and that was AMAZING!! So cool! It was at the only flamenco museum in the world and it was such a cool show! Like super classy and they did 7 different styles of flamenco dance and there were two guy dancers and one girl and they were like exactly as you’d expect and the singers and guitarist it really was so cool! Then after that amazing dance we went back and all made dinner in the apartments and that was fun!:) it was super yummy! Then we finished watching a movie and went to bed but I like could not sleep all night it was horrible such a long night!

On Tuesday we had to wake up super early to leave Sevilla for Granada so that kinda sucked but once we got to Granada it was so cool to see! It’s such a pretty city with more Islamic influence then I’ve seen in Spain and it’s cool cause it’s right up in the mountains so it’s awesome! We got to our nice apartments and then went and got some yummy kebab the best kebab in Spain!:) then after that we got really good ice cream of mayacuya and Granada then we did a little street shopping cause they have these cool loose Islamic pants here so I bought some in white and a shirt in white that they are really thin material so good for the heat and it was super cool! I wore it and these Arabic ladies like started bowing to me in the streets and everyone look at me I looked like a Latino pimp haha it was funny! Then we did this amazing electric bike tour of Granada and that was so awesome! We got to see the whole city and our guide was this cool Brazilian guy with dread locks and it was cool he explained some cool stuff like Isabel and bind buried where it says the only true god is ala so they moved her 50 years later when someone realized it haha he had a bunch of cool facts and it was fun definitely the best way to see the city we saw that people live in these caves that were dug when the Muslims kicked out the Spaniard they buried their gold and the poor people dug out the mountains search and now there are like homes built into the mountains so that’s cool our tour was three hours and we saw the whole city and it wasn’t too tiring either and just super fun! Then we went back and had a pretty crappy dinner then got ice cream and then we went back and watched Shawshank redemption while they did corn rows in jakes hair haha

Wednesday morning started out weird today it was kinda like a lazy feel like rainy and just feeling chill but I woke up late and then went and got a hair cut from this cool hipster barber shop so that was cool then I came back and showered and shaved but I had to shave my chest cause I can’t trim it so I did some manscaping haha then I hurry and got dressed and we all met up for lunch with the pages and it was pretty good! Then after that we did a tour of the cathedral here in Granada and it was pretty normal so I left and came back to the apartment and we all played bang together and then we got all ready to go out and put on all our cool gypsy pants! We all have different colors and they are like the hammer pants then we went to the Alhambra which was amazing! It’s up on a mountain and just such a cool palace! Unique for sure! Definitely more Islamic then anything I’ve seen besides the mosque and it was sooo pretty! We walked through some cool gardens and toured the whole place then we went through the throne room where Columbus asked Isabel and Ferdinand for the chance to go to America! That was cool! It was some cool Arabic architecture! Then after that we went to this Arabic restaurant and got some good couscu sitting on some cool pillows and then we went to this Arabic baths that were awesome and so relaxing! It was super cool we had such a Islamic day! Granada is pretty unique! So yeah super fun! And each bath had different temperatures and there were 7 of them and they were in like this cave and arches and stuff it was pretty sweet!
