Goodbye Zaragoza

June 1 Friday
So sadly today we left zaragoza and said goodbye to Inma!:( zaragoza was a great city and I had a really good time:) but we just took the train to Madrid and walked over to the hotel which was pretty close to the station and we met up with the pages so it was good to see them! So we dropped off everything at the hotel and we had to leave it in the other guys room cause ours wasn’t ready and so we walked to this Cuban restaurant called Havana blues and had some yummy food Cuban sandwiches and food shared family style! It’s nice cause byu pays so we can eat so much! Then after lunch they all went to this museum Sofia Reina which they said was alright but I went to the puerta de Álcala to meet up with Vicky Priscila and Vanessa! It was so good to see then especially Vanessa!:) who I haven’t seen in like a year and a half and they are my favs!:) I loved it we got pris lunch really quickly and just hung out and it felt like not a day had gone by! Just messing around with each other and stuff! Then we dropped pris off at work and went back to the apartment to chill for a sec and me and Vanessa talked about everything so that was awesome to be able to talk to her I missed her so much!:) then she dropped me off at the prado where I met up with the group then we walked to puerta del sol and I love that place I just love walking around downtown Madrid is so cool! Then we went to this argentine restaurant called parrilla del gaucho and got this really good food! Empanadas and meat and fries and everything good Argentine!:) then the girls wanted this waffle ice cream then we walked to the churro place that’s famous san Ginés and got some yummy churros then we walked through plaza mayor and back to the hotel once there me and Jake got into our room and they had like run out so we got the suite haha such a huge room and nice bathroom it was awesome!:) we threw on our robes and he filled up a bubble path and I made some manzaña and everyone came over and chilled in our apartment hehe:) then we went to bed and they were so comfy!!

Saturday was awesome! Got to check off some bucket list things! First we woke up and went to the train station where we left for cordoba! On the way we passed through ciudad real which was awesome to see again!:) once we got to cordoba we walked to our hostel which was fun cause the city is super cool to walk through once we got there we left our bags and went to the great mosque of cordoba and that was amazing! I got the see the candy cane arches and the amazing cieling it was just so cool to see the mix of Islamic and Christian architecture and beliefs so that was an amazing experience and the courtyard was full of orange trees and just the choir part was such cool carved wood and red marble! So cool! Then we went and crossed the Bridge and went to find this lunch place but it ended up being kinda crappy like it was just toast and avocado and smoothies and they tasted alright but nothing special and it took like two hours just for toast! So lame then after that we took a quick nap! Then I went to explore the city and it’s super cool cause they have all these really narrow streets and white washed buildings and in may they have a flower festival so you walk down the street and they are just flowers hanging from the buildings:) gosh i just love Andalucia! then we all met up to go dinner and that was probably my favorite part! We went to this restaurant that has flamenco dancers perform and it was so amazing! I loved it so much! Probably one of my favorite things I’ve seen in Spain just so passionate and cool and unique! Then after that we went to get ice cream and walked across the lite up bridge at night so that was really cool! Then we came back and me and Jake played chess and had a good time:)

On Sunday we woke up in Cordoba and got all ready for church and went to church but it was like a European regional conference and they computer wasn’t working at the church so we missed like an hour of the conference but it was alright cause we got to see the end when elder kearon and uchtdorf spoke:) and it was cool cause we got to meet a lot of the members that know van leeuwen and the elders and one served in elche and Ciudad real so it was fun talking to him, he said they still remember me and told me some funny stories so that was cool. Then we left for the train station and got to Sevilla and it was nice cause Sevilla isn’t as hot as it usually is at this time so that was awesome! We got there and walked to our apartment that is super nice then we went to lunch and this really yummy restaurant and it was super good! Then after that we explored the old part of Sevilla and saw the big cathedral and walked to the torre de oro where they would store all the gold when it would be shipped in from America then we walked to plaza de españa and that was amazing! So glad I finally got to see it just such an impressive structure! Then we just chilled in the park there for a little and walked to this little tapa place for dinner and that was good then we walked back to the apartment and we played games and then watched limitless and stayed up to be able to see the nba finals so that was fun to watch a little of that.
